Typhoon asked this yesterday about ECU and he was spot on.

I don't understand why all the experts all over the Eagles. NO seems for real, runs vs. a team that can't handle the rush that well.

I would have thought the line would have been 7-8.

What am I missing?

It isn't Most are on Saints. I will be on Philly +3 for the 20 point system which wins more often than not.

I mean they must think its a great spot the Eagles lost on national tv in primetime dropping the ball quite literally.. and then you have the Saints who have looked amazing thus far this year.. but thing is that Eagles defense is lacking they have gotten little to no pressure on QB, they've struggled against the run as well. this is no longer the Eagles they were the past couple seasons.. no way I could fire on the Eagles today.

I couldn't agree more. As an Eagles fan, I wouldn't take the points. Our offense is nowhere near as good without AJ. And our defensive line gets zero pressure and is giving up huge chunks of yardard on the ground. The line should be -7.

thanks for the feedback. I was going off of the long list in yesterday's thread with the Circa guys. Link is below. Of course half those guys are under .500. also, not being critical of Pointwise, but their key releases for yesterday were 2-6, with the top three going 0-3. So the experts, while doing their best, may not do better than us. I think this is going to be a NO blowout, and the alt line I see - 7 1/2 at +215. It's looking good imo.

They didn't traditionally beat Dallas - I am a season ticket holder for the Saints. I know this team. I know this NFL referee situation. They are better than they have been, possibly better that their SB team. Carr is loving the knew offensive coordinator and the Eagles have no answer for Olave and Shaheed. Throw in two massive blocking and catching tight ends and I dont see Philly getting a pass rush....Micha Parsons didn't even get into the backfield.

Sometimes Vegas takes too long for the lines to adjust. This is one of those times. Lay the points.

Only reason I'm not making this a bigger play for me is the FKN officials.

Yep no line movememt doesn't make sense either- may buy back a bit - the NFL is a corrupt piece of shit business. Owners in bed w the books, revenue sharing, gag orders for officials...

Everyone sees it week in week out - sometimes it's easier just to figure out who the fix is for.

Same - will be in the live line at kickoff - maybe saints score first and Eagles +7 pops up

Completely outplayed but Hurts and this coach messing everything up. Gotta admit I would be surprised if Eagles cover now. They had their chances. Hard to dominate a whole game and it must be a big downer for them and a huge energizer for the Saints to be ahead.

I don't understand what the Eagles are thinking? There is a ton of data out there now that shows how strong scoring with the last true possession of the first half and then receiving the 2nd half kick-off is. This isn't 20 years ago when the data wasn't as well known. The Patriots won several division crowns following this practice and both Belichick and Brady have touted it's effectiveness for years. They teach it at the high school level now. Yet, the Eagles, knowing they have dominated the 1st half and receive the 2nd half kick-off, go for it on 4th down at then end of the 1st half rather than take the points. Who teaches these people game management? That game strategy, by my estimate, lowered the Eagles chances of winning the game SU by about 22%.
